Remembering Zack

This site was created in memory of our Zachary Lewis. Our son, friend, and fiancé.

Story

Born in Lexington, Kentucky

October 6th, 1993

Zack Lewis left a legacy of love, competitiveness, friendship, and humor.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Zack's journey was marked by his exceptional tenacity on the tennis court and in the classroom. During his time at the College of Charleston, he collected over 100 wins as well as numerous All-Conference accolades. His dedication and competitiveness were admired by teammates and competitors alike.

Beyond his success on the tennis court, Zack was known for his brilliant mind and unwavering commitment to his studies. As a student, he graduated from the College of Charleston before being accepted to the University of Kentucky Medical School. He was then offered his dream residency in anesthesia at MUSC back in Charleston with his fiancè Kylie and sweet pup Bentley.

But perhaps Zack's greatest legacy lies in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend and loved one. His ability to listen made him a trusted friend while his laugh and sense of humor touched the lives of many, leaving behind memories that will be forever treasured.

Kylie, the Lewis family, friends, and the community mourn the loss of a remarkable individual. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In honoring Zack's memory, let us celebrate his life, his achievements, and the love he shared with all.

In lieu of flowers for celebrating Zachary's life please consider donating to the Zachary Lewis Memorial fund. Proceeds will go towards helping fund the College of Charleston Men's Tennis Program.
